Artist Corinne Lightweaver will present her extraordinary and deeply moving artwork about her experiences with breast cancer and mental illness. Her presentation will include the following topics: collage as autobiography, developing a personal mythology, working from what you know, the role of the unconscious, and the role of art making in healing. Her new art book, The Psyche’s Gifts: Art. Art Making, and the Journey from Mental Illness to Mental Wellness includes 38 color plates and will be available on Bookshop and Amazon.
